	If you are considering a new job in UK employment with Christian charities, churches or Christian-led businesses... then check out jobfile. Every job is on the web - updated daily. All current vacancies are published in print and PDF format for you, your church, college or organisation to receive free. 	If you, or others in your church / youth group/ home group etc. want to explore some short-term service - gap year, summer activities, study options, insight trips, etc. etc... then you need a copy of the Short Term Service Directory - published every year. It contains information on scores of Christian agencies offering programmes from one week to two years - both UK and worldwide. If you are then take a look at the companion short-term service workbook containing some thought provoking studies before you begin.
	If you are considering, or believe you need to look at using your skills and calling to serve God throughout the world for a longer period, then the resource you need to look at is Mission Matters. Besides useful articles to encourage and provoke and inspire you, it lists a whole range of agencies that would be pleased to explore options with you. You can find out about what they do, and the sort of skills, needs and people they could use.
	HighTime is a publication that was put together to encourage those of us who perhaps are 50 years+ and for various reasons have time to re-invest. Those with life skills, experience and motivation can play a significant part in serving God, voluntarily, whether from home, locally, nationally or internationally. Why not see what you could do. 	Church Salary Survey 2009 A report on employment and salary issues within UK churches from research carried out at the end of 2008 - published Spring 2009. The report examines aspects of employment for those working with churches - from Senior Leaders, Ministry Leaders, Youth and Children's workers, Administrators and Other Staff. Within each role the survey provides statistics on pay and employment terms, from churches below 100 members to those 400+, and whether location has any relevance to what is the 'norm'. The report can be obtained in hard copy or PDF format.
